Roger Welsch, a well known television personality from his days on CBS and author wrote A Life With Dogs about a decade ago. I was made aware of the book from a recent column in the New York Times by Dick Cavett. That was enough recommendation for me, so I ordered the book. It's about the dogs that Welcsh has lived with over the years. It's both funny and serious, and heartwarming without being sentimental. If you care about our canine friends, or want to know more about what goes on inside their heads, you will enjoy this book very much. It's no longer in print, but I had no problem finding a used copy on Amazon.
